Finding My Strong
Posted on February 2nd, 2014 No commentsThis morning I was running the Penitencia Creek Trail & South Rim Trail at Alum Rock. Forecast said 30% shower at 9:00am, but I didn’t prepare to run into headwind and pouring rain. It reminded me the year we ran CIM, and somehow it felt like previous life. This morning the trails got muddy and slippery, and the worst was the cold. In a fun and maybe a bit nonsense Read the rest of this entry »

Remembrance
Posted on January 12th, 2014 No commentsI rarely thought about life or death, and never worry or fear about how close death can be until last Oct. Especially my parents are healthy and live a very active lifestyle, and they travel much more than I do which I am jealous but very Read the rest of this entry »

Salomon Sense Hydro S-Lab Set
Posted on August 22nd, 2013 No commentsUsually I am not very into “product review” type of writing, because it reminds me of “job”; yes people often joke about that I actually hold a job and do have to make a living (sigh) besides running around 🙂 Plus, to me running related products can be very Read the rest of this entry »

On Road to Recovery — Crawl, Walk, Run
Posted on July 26th, 2013 No commentsWhen I found myself getting an entry spot for New York City Marathon, I could NOT believe how lucky I was. After trying my luck with the lottery system for couple years, I had pretty much gave up the idea of running NYC in this life time already :-p. The odds and luck hasn’t been on my side, and the qualifying time is even tougher than Boston; therefor I did not even Read the rest of this entry »

San Lorenzo River Trail Run Write Up (2013)
Posted on June 24th, 2013 No comments“Getting to the top of any given mountain was considered much less important than how one got there: prestige was earned by tackling
the most unforgiving routes with minimal equipment, in the boldest style imaginable.”
― Jon Krakauer, Into Thin AirI signed up the CTR San Lorenzo River Trail Run (Half Marathon) sometimes back in May, and at that time my Read the rest of this entry »
