I Can’t Explain

If I could explain I would
that love is something I never understood.
So much longing…so very suffocation…
but still the world goes after it with devotion.

Sure thing its a glimmer of hope,
a hope that subsides with each passing day.
Sure thing its a desire of every soul,
a desire afflicted with pain and strife,
whatever it may …

Its the worst addiction of this world,
pray it remains as such,
true to the meaning of each letter;
for it is the only reason in this desiccated world,
the only reason to live better.
